Pumpkins are used as one of the c...Thanks everyone! Pumpkins are used as one of the ceremonial offerings for a local holiday in October, so they're seasonal this time of year. There's just not the same big tradition as going out for a family day of pumpkins and cider at a farm or anything like that. Our housekeeper loved that we carved faces on them and put candles inside.
