Nothin' to do

I literally have nothing to do right now. I can't remember the last time this happened. Mike's at the office for a couple hours. The apartment inspection happened a little while ago, so I'm finished cleaning. No one could give me a straight answer on whether the pet deposit covers the Grendel stain. What else would it be for? Is it just to be mean to us for having pets? Grendel needs to get a job so he can pay for his messes himself.

I'm just sitting here listening to music. I'm not saying I'm not enjoying doing nothing. It's just a weird feeling, since there's been so much to do over the last few days. And so much to do in the days coming up. I keep saying to myself "Well, I could be doing..." but then I stop. There's nothing else for me to do to prepare for the trip.

Oh, I just thought of one thing. I have to suspend the Netflix subscription. That will kill about 5 seconds.

I saw X-men 3 on Sunday as a father's day present. the theater actually gave me a free hot dog and large soda for father's day. It was like a half gallon of diet pepsi.
Anyway the movie was not bad. I was tempered by the reviews and by letting some time go by. I was surprised at the body count. That final scene after the credits was brilliant.
Owning a full comic book box's worth of x-men titles I know my x-history. So they finally did get Storm right, god bless Halle Berry's ego, and give her a bigger role. And I didn't even mind their mucking with the Phoenix storyline because heh, how the heck were they going to introduce aliens from space into this?
But the movie was soulless.
I wait now for Superman Returns so that Singer can show x-fans what might have been.
There are very few times in your life when you have nothing to do. And typically we spend them worrying about it.
OK, this JACC meeting is almost over and I have to go home.

So do they ever get the guns back, then demand their badge at gunpoint like a joke, and say just kidding, but then get in trouble for pointing a gun?
