I don't normally advertise on this blog, but I love reading and I love my Kindle, so I'm sharing some news. Rumor has it that Amazon is redesigning the Kindle so the current model is on sale for $189, from $250-something. If you've been wanting one to store your summer reading or to make your book collection more compact before you move, now might be the time to check it out.
P.S. Now that I'm back in the States, the wireless feature is totally awesome.

I like my Kindle, too, Stephanie. It was super handy when I traveled to China. I took 5 books with me in that wafer-thin thing. Made it possible to pack more of the other stuff I needed. At first I thought I'd miss turning pages, or suffer eyestrain. But not all books are on Kindle, so I still buy a bound book now and then. And there's no eyestrain because there's no backlight, only pictures of real inked pages. It may take a while, but I believe that soon the whole reading world will come around.
