In August 2007, Mike and I took a European vacation. He had studied in Salzburg and wanted to show me the region, so we spent a few days there. I loved it and would live there in a heartbeat.

Salzburg looks beautiful! My younger daughter is currently in rehearsals to play Marta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music so we have Austria on our minds. Would love to visit soon.
My favorite regions in the world. So much to see, and all beautiful.
Salzburg is magical, isn't it? All of Salzkammergut is gorgeous. I especially liked Mondsee, lovely place and such a romantic name.
